​​Stephanie Hicks is in her eighth year as the head director at Spring High School and her 28th year of teaching. Ms. Hicks is the primary director of Concert Men, Bella Voce, A Cappella, Chorale,  and Chamber Choir.  Ms. Hicks graduated with a Master of Music Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She taught choir for 5 years in Oklahoma and then spent 15 years as the Head Choir Director at Crownover Middle School in Denton, TX.  Over the years, Ms. Hicks' choirs have consistently earned UIL Sweepstakes and Overall Outstanding awards. She has had the privilege of judging UIL contests and accompanying for many UIL competitions, TCDA reading sessions, MS/HS All-Region concerts, and musical performances. She also serves as Music Director at First Christian Church Katy in Kayty, TX .  Ms. Hicks is a member of TMEA, TCDA, ACDA and TMAA.
